Can I use my existing domain for professional business email?

Yes. Stonebridge can connect professional business email to the client's existing domain and configure the required DNS records, mailboxes, routing, and related infrastructure. The exact setup depends on the current domain registrar, hosting environment, email provider, and how many users or addresses are required. The objective is to give the business a professional email system without forcing a domain change simply to use another mail platform.

Which email platform is better for my business: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or another provider?

Stonebridge looks at the number of users, collaboration needs, existing software, mailbox requirements, budget, security, administration, and how the business already works. There is no single provider that is best for every company. Some clients need the wider Google ecosystem, others are better aligned with Microsoft, and some only need reliable professional email. Stonebridge recommends the platform after understanding the business rather than choosing one because it is the most recognizable brand.

Can my existing emails, contacts, and calendars be migrated without losing them?

Yes, where the existing provider supports export or migration. Stonebridge can plan the transfer of mailboxes, contacts, calendars, and account structure so the new environment contains the important historical information. Before migration, the existing setup should be reviewed and backed up where appropriate. The exact migration method depends on the old and new providers, number of accounts, mailbox sizes, and whether the client is changing only email or also hosting and DNS.

Will my business email stop working while the migration or DNS changes are being completed?

Stonebridge plans the migration to minimize disruption, but DNS and mail-routing changes can require a propagation period. The safest approach is to prepare the new mailboxes, verify settings, coordinate the cutover, and monitor both sending and receiving during the change. The exact risk depends on the current setup and provider. Stonebridge does not deliberately take the old system offline before the new route is ready.

What are SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX records, and why do they matter for email delivery?

MX records tell the domain where incoming email should be delivered. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC help receiving mail systems verify that messages are genuinely authorized by the domain and have not been altered or sent from an unauthorized source. Stonebridge can configure and review these records as part of business email infrastructure. They are important because a mailbox can technically send email and still have poor deliverability if the domain authentication is incomplete or inconsistent.

Why are my business emails going to spam even though the email address itself works?

A working mailbox does not automatically mean strong deliverability. Spam placement can be affected by SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain reputation, sending patterns, server reputation, message content, recipient engagement, forwarding, DNS configuration, and other factors. Stonebridge reviews the technical email setup and the sending environment rather than assuming the problem is only the mail application. Where the issue involves provider reputation or recipient filtering, the solution may require both technical corrections and a cleaner sending pattern over time.
